This piece was a commission as a gift for a gentleman whose father worked on the school and he attended the school.

- Cheryl Hardy is a Fine Artist from Labrador West Canada. Her love of her craft comes though in her statement "Every day brings some new exciting experience or subject for me to paint.I see the beauty in everyday life, my home and community and love to paint it. While portraiture is one facet of art that I am still developing, I find the challenge very rewarding". She is a long time member of the Labrador West Visual Arts Association. Her works can be seen in local art shows.
