I have always loved the iris patches found throughout the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It was a joy to paint one.

Her love of her craft comes though in her statement "Every day brings some new exciting experience or subject for me to paint.I see the beauty in everyday life, my home and community and love to paint it. While portraiture is one facet of art that I am still developing, I find the challenge very rewarding". She is a long time member of the Labrador West Visual Arts Association. Her works can be seen in local art shows.
