As childern in Newfoundland, we loved the smell of fresh baked bread, and rushed to be the first to get a hot slice smothered in eversweet margarine and molasses.

Her love of her craft comes though in her statement "Every day brings some new exciting experience or subject for me to paint.I see the beauty in everyday life, my home and community and love to paint it. While portraiture is one facet of art that I am still developing, I find the challenge very rewarding". She is a long time member of the Labrador West Visual Arts Association.
